Six Minute Meals For Six Pack Abs

Many diets nowadays make you stay hungry and deprive you of good food. If you want to obtain six pack abs, you should eat well to stay full. When you are full, you don’t crave to binge on unhealthy foods. You should eat six times daily by choosing the right nutrients. It is important to eat every few hours to keep your metabolism level going. Hence, the trick is to eat 3 regular meals along with 3 small snacks.

Foods to indulge in

Some of the foods you should indulge in include almonds, spinach, beans, dairy, eggs, oatmeal, turkey, olive oil, raspberries and whole grains.

Sample meal options

Breakfast

  • 1 cup cooked brown rice

Combine these ingredients together before you top it with egg, cilantro and cheese.

Snack Options

  • 6 Strawberries with yoghurt and drizzle of chocolate sauce
  • 5 cup of microwave popcorn with 1 tbsp cheese and hot sauce

Lunch

  • 2 tbsp of onion, diced
  • ¾ cup cooked chicken
  • 2 tbsp of feta cheese
  • 1 handful of lettuce
  • 1 large tortilla made of whole wheat
  • Salsa for dip

Place chicken, cheese, onion and lettuce towards the center of the whole wheat tortilla before rolling it tightly. Cut into half and grill the rolls for 2 minutes on each side. Serve with fresh salsa.

Crunch Time

  • ½ small chopped apple
  • 3 cup of mixed greens
  • 2 tbsp of carrot, grated
  • 1 tbsp of pecans, chopped
  • 1 tbsp of blue cheese crumbles

To prepare this snack, toss them all nicely and add dressing prepared with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Dinner

  • 2 tsp peanut oil
  • 1/3 cup of carrots
  • ½ cup of French beans
  • ¼ tsp of red pepper
  • ¼ cup of unsalted cashews. Roasted
  • 2 tsp of orange juice
  • 2 tsp of soy sauce
  • 1 cup of frozen shrimps

Add oil along with red pepper in a hot skillet. Put all ingredients except the shrimp and place it on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep stirring frequently. Toss in the shrimp and continue cooking for another 2 minutes. Serve on brown rice.

Dessert Options

  • 2 tsp of peanut butter with 2 whole wheat crackers
  • Blueberries with low fat sweet yoghurt
